We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA/Lab Technician to join our team in Shreveport, LA. This is a short-term position covering a leave, perfect for someone who can start immediately and thrive in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests on materials or products using laboratory equipment.
• Follow established procedures and use proper laboratory techniques.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and keep accurate records of tests.
• Notify production and management staff of any failure conditions observed.
• Perform general laboratory cleaning duties, including washing equipment and maintaining cleanliness.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong logic and reasoning skills.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Good math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate in various settings.
• Knowledge of and compliance with all safety guidelines.
• Must tolerate heat and dust as the job involves working in the feed mill.
