Job Title : QA Lead (SDET)

    About the Role:

We are seeking a QA Lead with a strong SDET background to lead testing for a complex web-based health insurance marketplace. This is a hands-on role (~70%) with team leadership responsibilities (~30%).

You will be responsible for end-to-end quality of client deployment, with a focus on building and scaling automation, improving test infrastructure, and applying AI tools in the SDLC. You will also manage a small team in the US and a small team in India, ensuring consistent execution and delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own end-to-end QA delivery for a client deployment, including planning, execution, and release readiness

    • Lead and manage a distributed QA/SDET team (US and India), including task assignment, prioritization, and technical guidance

    • Define and drive automation-first test strategy, while ensuring effective manual testing where needed

    • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools

    • Write and review automated tests across UI, API, and integration layers

    • Support and collaborate with client test teams to ensure successful and timely completion of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other processes leading up to the release

    • Actively contribute to manual testing for new features, edge cases, and exploratory scenarios

    • Analyze requirements and workflows to design effective test coverage (manual + automated)

    • Identify, document, and triage defects with clear reproduction steps and root cause insights

    • Use AI tools to improve testing, including test generation, defect analysis, and automation acceleration

    • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback

    • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, release managers and various internal and external teams across time zones during each release

    • Track quality metrics, identify risks, and communicate status clearly to stakeholders

    • Continuously improve test frameworks, tooling, and QA processes
