We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead and scale our Quality Engineering function for a product-based SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategy, managing teams across manual and automation testing, ensuring high product quality, and driving continuous improvement across the SDLC.
Define and own the overall QA strategy aligned with product and business goals
Establish quality standards, processes, and best practices across teams
Drive shift-left testing and quality ownership mindset
Lead, mentor, and grow manual and automation QA teams
Handle hiring, performance management, skill development, and career planning
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and UX teams
Oversee test automation strategy (UI, API, Regression)
Ensure effective use of automation tools (Playwright / Selenium / Cypress or similar)
Improve test coverage, execution speed, and CI/CD integration
Own release sign-off and quality metrics
Analyze defects, root causes, and production issues
Drive defect prevention and continuous improvement initiatives
Work closely with Scrum / Agile teams
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Ensure testing is embedded early in the development lifecycle
15+ years in Software Testing / Quality Engineering
5+ years in a QA Manager / Senior QA Leadership role
Strong experience in product-based companies (SaaS preferred)
Manual testing, test design techniques, and exploratory testing
Automation frameworks and tools (Playwright / Selenium / Cypress)
API testing (Postman / RestAssured)
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps collaboration
Test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
Data-driven mindset using quality metrics and dashboards
Experience working with senior leadership and product heads
Experience scaling QA teams in fast-growing product companies
Exposure to performance and security testing
Certifications (ISTQB, CSPO, SAFe, etc.)
Experience with cloud-native or microservices-based products
Work on a scalable, customer-facing product
High ownership and leadership visibility
