Job Title: QA/QC Engineer
Location: Amarillo, TX ($160/day per diem)
Duration: 1-2+ year contract
Pay Range: $60-72/hr (negotiable)
Summary:
The QA/QC Field Engineer leads quality control efforts across various project phases, including preconstruction, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The role requires experience in Electrical/Low-Voltage and BIM, ensuring work compliance with project standards and collaborating with design professionals, clients, and trade contractors.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule and coordinate inspections
• Perform quality inspections across disciplines
• Attend QA/QC and project meetings
• Verify adherence to quality procedures
• Develop and improve quality processes
• Ensure trade contractor compliance
• Confirm work meets codes and standards
• Inspect Owner Furnished Equipment
• Support issue resolution and corrective actions
Qualifications:
• 2+ years construction QA/QC experience
• 2+ years offsite manufacturing/inspection experience
• High school diploma; degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and field management software
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation and quality standards.
