Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an QA/QC Inspector for a Contract with a client in Carmel, IN. The ideal candidate will inspect and evaluate finished medical devices to ensure compliance with quality standards, accurately documenting inspection results and supporting manufacturing excellence.

Rate Range: $17/Hour to $18/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA/QC Inspector Responsibilities include:

• Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents while utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records to support product traceability and regulatory compliance.

• Investigate quality issues, analyze product failures, and collaborate with engineering teams to support corrective actions and process improvements.

• Conduct audits and inspections in accordance with cGMP requirements, company procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Communicate quality concerns, findings, and solutions effectively while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or inspection environment preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications, and use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document inspection results, identify quality issues, and work effectively within cGMP and safety guidelines.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
