Our client is a rapidly growing and highly respected General Contractor specializing in DSA and LAUSD construction projects throughout Southern California. With a strong reputation for delivering complex educational and public-sector projects, they are committed to quality, safety, and long-term client partnerships.

Description

Our QA/QC Manager will be resonsible for:

  • Monitor implementation of the project Quality Management System through routine site assessments, audits, and quality reviews.
  • Conduct daily field inspections to verify compliance with approved construction methods, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Meet with subcontractors prior to mobilization to review approved submittals, outstanding RFIs, material procurement status, and quality requirements.
  • Establish and monitor subcontractor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance throughout various project phases.
  • Develop, communicate, and enforce QA/QC requirements for subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
  • Track and follow up on quality-related action items while maintaining status logs and documentation.
  • Create, manage, and monitor project punch lists to ensure timely completion of corrective work.
  • Review ongoing and completed work to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and workmanship standards.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with vendors, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership representatives.
  • Prepare and review testing and commissioning procedures and method statements.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is maintained and properly organized throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate preparation of final turnover packages, including QA/QC records, testing reports, commissioning documentation, and project closeout materials

Profile

The ideal QA/QC Manager will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience implementing and managing QA/QC programs within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction quality management systems and QA/QC best practices.
  • Experience with LAUSD projects.
  • DSA project experience strongly preferred.
  • ICC Inspector Certification preferred.
  • Current California State Inspector Certification preferred.
  • OSHPD/HCAI inspection experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting testing, commissioning, and project turnover activities.
