With a growing portfolio of mission-critical builds, this organization is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to play a key role in ensuring quality excellence on high-profile data center projects.

This company is based out of the Northwest Region of the United States and have been a leading mechanical contractor for nearly 50 years. This firm has nation wide projects underway supporting mechanical scopes on large construction projects for healthcare, data center, infrastructure and several other commercial construction projects.
Description
As the QA/QC Engineer, you will report into senior project leadership and be responsible for driving quality assurance across mechanical scopes on major construction projects.
- Lead QA/QC processes across HVAC, piping, and mechanical installation scopes
- Develop and manage inspection and test plans (ITPs) aligned with project specifications
- Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with design, codes, and client standards
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors
- Identify non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions efficiently
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and turnover packages
- Support commissioning and handover activities on complex project environments
Profile
For the QA/QC Engineer role we are seeking:
- Proven experience in QA/QC within mechanical construction (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
- Background working on large-scale projects such as data centers, healthcare, or commercial builds
- Strong understanding of quality control systems, inspection processes, and compliance standards
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Experience working in fast-paced, site-based project environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence field teams and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel for long-term project assignments
- Data Center project experience highly favored
Job Offer
- Salary: $125,000 - $145,000
- Travel package: $1,200/week (approx. $63,440 annually)
- Relocation support: $15,000
- Auto allowance: $8,400 annually
- Performance-based bonus (approx. $10,000 annually)
- Long-term project pipeline (up to 2+ years per assignment)
