QA/QC Specialist – Data Center / Structured Cabling
We're hiring an experienced QA/QC Specialist to support one of the nation's fastest-growing data center construction projects in Spartanburg, SC. If you have a strong background in structured cabling, fiber optics, and quality inspections—and take pride in delivering work that meets the highest standards—this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing mission-critical contractor with a clear path to permanent employment.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily QA/QC inspections of fiber and copper cabling installations
- Verify installations meet project drawings, customer requirements, and industry standards
- Inspect rack elevations, cable routing, labeling, testing, and terminations
- Document deficiencies and track corrective actions
- Review testing documentation and turnover packages
- Work closely with project managers, field supervisors, and installation teams to maintain quality throughout the project
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of QA/QC experience in structured cabling or data center construction
- Strong understanding of fiber optic and copper cabling systems
- Experience reading construction drawings and rack elevations
- Working knowledge of ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- BICSI Installer 2 or Technician
- Hyperscale or colocation data center experience
- Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, or similar software
- Fiber testing experience (OTDR, Power Meter)
