QA Receiving Inspector

2.0 Job Description and Responsibilities:

2.1 Inspect all parts and material received from suppliers or customers before further processing.

2.2 Verify correct quantity and traceability information including but not limited to: work order number, sales order number, Hunting purchase order number, part number, heat number, and joint number. Verify and record all traceability information on the process router and receiving inspection report

2.3 Inspect parts and or material for damage that may prevent conformance with Hunting and/or Customer requirements.

2.4 Inspect raw material for compliance with the Hunting purchase order and requirements on the process router.

2.5 Verify material dimensions including OD for tubing, bar and bored bar; ID for tubing and bored bar.

2.6 Initiate NCR's for any material or processes that do not conform to relevant specifications or standards.
