Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an QA Specialist for a Contract with a client in Irving. TX. The ideal candidate is responsible for reviewing Device History Records (DHR) and supporting the final release of medical device products to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards.

Rate Range: $26/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Specialist Job Responsibilities include:

• Administer and maintain Linux/RHEL servers, including provisioning, patching, upgrades, kernel updates, and system lifecycle management.

• Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Syslog, Splunk, ELK, and other monitoring tools; investigate and resolve system issues proactively.

• Manage and support network storage solutions, including NFSv4, Kerberos-based ACLs, file shares, and database backup configurations.

• Configure and maintain virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and Red Hat virt-who to support development and production environments.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, dependency diagrams, data-flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and operational runbooks.

• Collaborate with application development, cybersecurity, networking, and operations teams to improve platform reliability, deployment efficiency, security compliance, and incident response readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.

• 0-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, manufacturing, documentation review, or related field.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review Device History Records (DHR) and ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
