Job Description

Position Summary:The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards through inspections, testing, and data analysis. This role supports manufacturing operations by identifying defects, verifying product specifications, maintaining accurate documentation, and recommending process improvements to ensure consistent product quality and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Perform quality inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goodsVerify products meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standardsIdentify production defects, non-conforming materials, and quality concernsConduct product measurements and testing using precision measuring and inspection equipmentCalibrate inspection and testing equipment to ensure accurate resultsRecord inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentationAnalyze quality data and identify trends or recurring issuesRecommend corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and manufacturing processesCollaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issuesAssist with internal audits and support compliance with quality management systemsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety proceduresJob Requirements:Previous experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment preferredStrong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and testing proceduresExperience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection toolsAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality standardsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and quality data entry systemsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentKnowledge of ISO, GMP, or other applicable quality standards is a plus
