Atlanta Cheesecake Company, a subsidiary of Dessert Holdings, is seeking a Quality Assurance
Technician to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and
compliance. This position plays a critical role in supporting production operations and maintaining
inspection readiness throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct quality and food safety inspections throughout the facility.
• Verify sanitation effectiveness using ATP testing and environmental monitoring.
• Monitor temperatures, production records, and food safety documentation.
• Perform allergen and environmental swabbing as required.
• Calibrate equipment including scales and thermometers.
• Conduct GMP, sanitation, and food safety audits.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and production quality checks.
• Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and handled.
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining audit and inspection readiness.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of quality assurance, food manufacturing, or food safety experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety programs preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
