At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.We are presently seeking aQA Technicianthat will perform various optical fabrication processes including but not limited to beveling milling blocking grinding polishing curve generation and inspectionmeasurements.Main responsibilitiesIdentification of improvements in processes such as reduction of handling measuring storing etc. and communicating those ideas to the SustainingQuality Engineering team.Supportive of Process Engineering by conducting Tests of the Day TOD specific data collection while working towards validating the reduction of inspections and metrology measurements.Completes First Article Inspections with little assistance.Provides guidance coaching and training to Level I QA Technicians and develops Manufacturing Technicians to conduct self-qualification.Performs measurement and inspection on complex optics and optical assemblies using non-traditional methods and equipment as instructed. This includes any necessary setup.RequirementsHigh School Diploma RequiredAssociates degree preferredKnowledge and understanding of moderate to complex math calculations a plus.5 years of experience in a quality assurance position in a manufacturing environment.Benefits start day 1 Medical Dental Vision 401K Paid Time Off Holiday Pay PAID MaternityPaternity leave Tuition Reimbursement Long-term and Short-term disabilityPay Range 21.00 - 29.00 per hour depending on experience.Our facility in Boulder Coloradohas key functions in Research and Development Operations Production and other disciplines.
