QA Technician – Food Manufacturing

Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking a QA Technician to join their team. As a Food Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the production and quality control teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Technician – Food Manufacturing

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Range:  $23 /hr

Shift: 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Assist production team leaders with issues related to non-conforming products and product holds
• Record and document all product control transactions and initiate hold investigation forms
• Help manage experimental product control and retest hold products
• Perform weekly pre-operation inspections with the Sanitation department and GMP audits
• Conduct line checks, metal detector calibrations, and verify product specifications throughout production

What's Needed?

• Ability to learn and use software programs such as QDMS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and reaching
• Excellent observation skills to monitor product quality and food safety standards
