    Job Description

    Position Summary

    The Quality Assurance Technician will assist with development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures and will have a strong understanding of quality assurance processes, procedures, and will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems within the organization.

    Position Responsibilities - Essential

    • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures
    • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
    • Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality issues and non-conformances
    • Support the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
    • Assist in the documentation and maintenance of quality records and reports
    • Participate in the development and delivery of quality training programs for staff
    • Communicate issues and/or concerns to senior QA techs and management
    • Support the maintenance of quality management systems and certifications
    • Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
    • Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a "safety-sensitive" position

    Position Responsibilities - Non-Essential/Other

    • Other duties and special projects as assigned

    Essential Skills and Experience

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent

    • Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a manufacturing/industrial environment

    • Ability to pass required safety training such as Lock Out Tag Out, Hazard Communication, ISO, ETC

    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Basic computer skills, such as Email, Word and Excel

    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

    • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

    • Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture

    • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s)

    Beneficial Skills and Experience

    Greater than 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
