QA Technician / Manufacturing Team Lead

**12-Hour Shifts **

Are you detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment? We're seeking a Machine Operator Team Lead AND temporary Quality Assurance Technician to support our quality team during a staffing shortage. While this assignment is expected to last at least one month, it has the potential to become a full-time opportunity on another shift or advance into a Day Shift Team Lead role.

• Prior supervisory experience required

What You'll Do

• Monitor machine operations & product quality throughout production and final inspection
• Perform product and packaging inspections using lab equipment, visual standards, and quality testing procedures
• Complete quality documentation, production reports, and inspection records
• Conduct line inspections, cleanup verification, and quality audits
• Review quality trends and communicate findings to production teams
• Investigate and report quality and equipment concerns
• Assist with customer audits, BRC audits, and HACCP activities
• Train employees on SOPs, quality requirements, and production procedures
• Lead shift meetings and support production operations as needed
• Maintain GMP, sanitation, food safety, and quality system compliance
• Support safe work practices including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Strong attention to detail

Microsoft 365 proficiency, including Excel

Ability to accurately complete documentation and reports

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable standing, bending, twisting, and working in a manufacturing environment for the duration of the shift

Preferred Experience

• 1-3+ years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing
• Experience with internal or external quality audits
• Food-grade manufacturing or packaging experience
• HACCP and GMP knowledge
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
