In this position, you'll support enterprise‑level data, analytics, and application modernization efforts. This role is central to ensuring that mission‑critical public health systems are stable, intuitive, secure, and fully validated before deployment to CDC stakeholders. The selected engineer will specialize in designing scalable LCNC testing approaches, improving release quality, and driving continuous improvement across the QA lifecycle.

The LCNC QA Tester will work within a fast‑paced, agile environment, partnering closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA professionals to validate functionality, identify defects early, and ensure seamless delivery of high‑quality applications. This role requires deep expertise testing LCNC solutions, identifying defects early, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high‑quality applications. You will apply modern testing techniques, including AI‑assisted validation, to expand coverage, increase speed, and reduce manual testing overhead.

Responsibilities:

• Build and optimize robust automation frameworks for web applications and APIs, create scalable cloud‑based test environments (AWS, Azure, Docker), and implement AI‑enhanced testing approaches using tools like GitHub Copilot or Agentic UI Automation. 
• Perform automated and manual testing—including regression, usability, UAT, and API validation—to ensure full end‑to‑end functionality and high‑quality system performance.  
• Implement, refine, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support seamless, reliable test automation and continuous delivery.  
• Partner closely with developers, analysts, and QA teammates to define test strategies, document and communicate defects, track issue resolution, and continuously improve test coverage, frameworks, and team processes. 
• Mentor junior QA staff, estimate testing efforts, share knowledge, maintain thorough test documentation, and ensure all applications meet established quality, compliance, functional, and performance benchmarks. 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 4+ years performing Agile QA focused on Low‑Code/No‑Code platforms and full‑SDLC testing
• Strong understanding of LCNC platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Power Apps, Power Automate)
• 2+ years designing, executing, and maintaining LCNC test cases
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor’s degree  
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
