Job Summary (List Format): Senior QA Consultant Payment & Debit Systems
- Serve as a Senior QA Consultant for a phased Fuel Pre-Authorization project in partnership with Visa.
- Act as a specialized, embedded resource within the client's team to update and validate the 0120 transaction process for automated fuel dispensers.
- Ensure pre-authorization amounts are dynamically updated in near real-time, aligning with Visa's production-ready confirmation advice.
- Collaborate with client teams to finalize requirements, offering subject matter expertise in debit card transaction workflows.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and cases for the enhanced 0120 transaction process.
- Use Lexcel (FIS simulation tool) to simulate debit card transactions, validate messaging, and identify system anomalies.
- Support both development and testing phases across a phased release cycle, ensuring seamless integration with Visa's deployment timeline.
- Identify, log, and track software defects; collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and retest fixes promptly.
- Must have at least 8 years of software testing experience, with a strong focus on Debit Card/Payment Processing.
- Require hands-on expertise with Lexcel (FIS simulation tool) and deep understanding of POS transaction flows, AFD pre-authorizations, and financial messaging (ISO 8583/0120).
- Demonstrate effective work as an augmented, client-facing resource in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit strong communication skills for alignment between client and Visa teams.
- Fully remote, US-based position with preference for Eastern Time Zone; project duration from mid-July 2026 to Q1 2027.E
