We are expanding our U.S. finance team and seeking a detail-driven Bookkeeper who is highly proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and experienced with complex reconciliations in high-volume or multi-entity environments.
You will work across both our U.S. and Canadian entities, supporting our Senior Accountant, Fractional CFO, and external tax advisors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing clarity and accuracy to financial operations.
Maintain accurate books for both Uplifter US and Uplifter Canada in QBO
Manage AP/AR, vendor payments, expense classification, and reconciliations
Assist with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and GL maintenance
Support cashflow monitoring and internal reporting
Perform multi-bank, multi-entity, and high-volume reconciliations
Tie out settlements, payouts, fees, and timing differences
Investigate and resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately
Partner with the Senior Accountant to clean historical items and maintain clean books
Assist in preparing financial reporting packages, KPI summaries, and trend analysis
Work with external U.S. and Canadian tax accountants to support filings
Support budgeting and forecasting inputs
Improve process accuracy and consistency across entities
3–7 years bookkeeping or junior accounting experience
Advanced QuickBooks Online experience (multi-entity preferred)
Strong experience with complex reconciliation
Experience in SaaS, tech, subscription businesses, or payment-heavy businesses
Excellent understanding of AP, AR, GL, and month-end close processes
High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Exceptional attention to detail and organization
Experience with subscription revenue recognition
Exposure to cross-border accounting (U.S. + Canada)
Experience working with fractional CFOs or external tax advisory teams
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Strong communicator who collaborates well with finance and operations teams
Proactive, hands-on, and committed to accuracy
