Description

A well-established Biotech company is looking for an entry-level QC Analyst to support its team!

This is a 12-month temporary role, with strong potential for permanent hire. Great opportunity for recent graduates in the life sciences! 


Role Details:

  • 12-month contract (potential for permanent hire)
  • $23.00-$25.00 per hour
  • M-F, 2nd Shift, 12pm-8:30pm

The QC Analyst will:

Support the Quality Control (QC) department by providing basic laboratory assistance and performing a variety of chemical or biological analyses on products, in-process materials, or stability samples.

Day-to-day responsibilities: 

  • Maintain laboratory supplies
  • Gather samples for testing, sample disposal
  • Weekly/monthly cleanings of laboratories 
  • Complete laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data
  • Perform data entry into Laboratory Information Management System
  • Compile data for laboratory investigations
  • Participate in required training activities
  • Collect/prepare samples, aliquots, and reagents in support of testing using aseptic technique and good material handling practices as required
  • Conduct testing on in-process, product, stability, and/or research samples
  • Calibrate or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use
  • Comply with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
  • Interact with outside customers or functional peer groups
Education and Experience:
  • BS, BA or AAS in Life Sciences Preferred 
  • Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to organize and maintain data or information
  • Ability to learn through observation and hands on experience
