Title: QC Analyst Biologics (5 Openings)
Location: Ventura County, CA
Duration: 3 months, with a potential extension up to 6 months and possible permanent conversion
Rate: $55-59/Hr on W2
*Background:*
Our pharmaceutical client is seeking an experienced QC Analyst to support Quality Control testing for biologics manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing analytical testing of biologic products, with particular emphasis on ELISA and RiboGreen assays. Experience supporting mRNA products is highly preferred.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Perform routine QC testing of biologic and mRNA-based products in a GMP laboratory environment.
Conduct ELISA assays for protein detection, quantification, and other product-specific testing.
Perform RiboGreen assays for RNA concentration and quantification.
Execute additional analytical testing supporting raw materials, in-process samples, drug substance, and/or finished product.
Prepare samples, standards, reagents, buffers, and controls according to approved procedures.
Review and document analytical results in accordance with GMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Support laboratory investigations, deviations, OOS/OOT results, and troubleshooting as needed.
Maintain laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and documentation in a state of compliance.
Work closely with QC, QA, Manufacturing, and Analytical Development teams to support testing timelines and product release.
*Qualifications:*
Hands-on QC analytical testing experience within biologics, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Strong experience performing ELISA testing.
Experience performing RiboGreen assays or similar fluorescence-based RNA/DNA quantification methods.
Experience with mRNA products, RNA therapeutics, or other biologic modalities strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of GMP laboratory practices, data integrity, and controlled documentation.
Ability to independently execute analytical methods and troubleshoot laboratory testing issues.
Experience supporting QC investigations and general laboratory operations preferred.
