POSITION DETAILS JOB PURPOSE The fabric inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of the fabric meets Arhaus standards, before introducing it into production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • While partnering with the receiving team, the inspectors will approve or deny the fabric as it comes into the facility. • The inspectors will provide feedback to the Manufacturing Solutions Supervisor and the cutting supervisor on products received and possible delays. • The inspectors will be required to complete documentation on all products received. • All issues will be escalated to the appropriate personnel. • All other duties assigned by the supervisor. • Regular and predictable performance of job duties.
WORKING CONDITIONS Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 1 Year of furniture experience and at least 6 months of quality inspection
PREferred EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 1 year of fabric inspection within furniture manufacturing.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT High School Diploma or Equivalent

REQUIRED SKILLS PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • High attention to detail and quality. • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods. • Must be able to lift and move materials as needed up to 60lbs. • Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
