Job Title: QC Inspection
Location: Deer Park, TX
Pay Rate: $24-$25/hr
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Summary:
- Shift Detail: 7am - 4:30pm and 8am - 5:30pm (Should be available for both)
Responsibilities:
- Inspect warehouse picking accuracy by confirming part number and quantities.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Report daily internal and external defects to the team and help identify root causes.
- Work with the QC final inspection areas to ensure timely delivery of scheduled shipments.
- Inspect packaging methods per customer and internal requirements to mitigate receipt of damaged parts/valves.
- Collaborate with Warehouse and Quality teams to address escaping defects related to picking and packing.
- Assist Warehouse and Quality teams to drive customer satisfaction.
- Inspect and gather product documentation, final document packets, material heat reports/certified material test reports (CMTRs) as required.
- Support lean activities/initiatives for Quality as required.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during inspections to promote a secure workplace for all personnel.
- Work closely with the documentation team to provide inspection reports and CMTRs for products to satisfy customer requirements.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Coachable with SAP knowledge.
- Good communication skills.
- Some knowledge in dimensional testing and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
- Results driven with a keen eye for detail.
