QC inspector - 1st shift

Volt is immediately hiring multiple Quality Control Inspectors in Long Beach, CA

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will:

• Perform inspections at various stages of manufacturing, including First Article (FAI), Incoming (IQC), In-Process (IPQC), and Final (FQC).
• Accurately complete inspection reports in accordance with cGMP and QMS standards.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools for precise measurement.
• Review product documentation and prepare nonconformance reports.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety protocols.

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• 2-3 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing (medical device preferred).
• Strong blueprint reading and documentation skills.
• Experience using conventional measurement tools.
• Basic understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay: $20.00-$23.00/hr

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
