QC Inspector 2Nd Shift

Job SummaryWe're looking for a QC Inspector to help ensure aerospace components meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements before moving through production or returning to service. This role is all about attention to detail, following approved procedures, and ensuring quality comes first.

You'll perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, verify documentation, and work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain compliance and product integrity.

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 3:00p-11:00PShift Differential: Additional $1.00/hr

What You'll Be Doing

Perform incoming, in-process, hidden damage, and final inspectionsVerify parts conform to drawings, specifications, travelers, and approved dataInspect components in accordance with FAA, EASA, and other applicable regulatory requirementsUse precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, dial indicators, pi tapes, hardness testers, and go/no-go gagesVerify part numbers, serial numbers, certifications, and customer paperworkEnsure inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintainedComplete inspection records and documentation accuratelyIdentify and report quality issues, nonconformances, and potential compliance concernsSupport continuous improvement efforts to improve quality, efficiency, and workflowWork closely with Production and Engineering to resolve inspection-related issuesAssist with implementation of new repairs, techniques, and inspection processesMaintain safe, clean, and organized work areasFollow all company safety, quality, and ethical standards

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent1+ year of quality inspection, manufacturing, aerospace, or related experienceAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals, specifications, and repair documentationExperience using precision measurement and inspection equipmentStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyGood mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a regulated aerospace environmentProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

FAA A&P License or Repairman Certificate with Return to Service AuthorizationAerospace manufacturing or repair station experienceExperience working with FAA, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA, or other civil aviation requirementsKnowledge of quality systems and airworthiness requirements
