Job: QC Inspector - 2nd Shift
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Shift: 2nd Shift: M-F, 3:00pm - 11:00pm (training on 1st Shift: 7am - 3:30pm)
Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Position Summary
Perform dimensional, visual, and documentation inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished aerospace products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections using hand tools, gauges, and precision instruments

  • Verify conformance to blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and AS9100 requirements

  • Document inspection results and nonconformances accurately

  • Identify, tag, and report nonconforming material

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams

  • Support audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications

Required
  • 2+ years QC inspection experience (aerospace preferred)

  • Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Preferred
  • AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) experience

  • Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, or aerospace standards

  • CMM experience or training
