We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for inspecting and testing manufactured, assembled, and incoming parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
Candidates must have at least 34 years of Quality Control/Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable using precision measuring equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured and assembled parts.
Inspect incoming components and materials received from outside vendors.
Identify defects, dimensional discrepancies, and deviations from specifications.
Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and hand tools to verify product quality.
Perform and verify first article inspections.
Read and interpret specifications, work instructions, and production documentation.
Verify required documentation and product identification throughout the production process.
Accurately document inspection results and communicate quality concerns.
Work closely with production personnel to address quality issues and maintain manufacturing standards.
Support continuous improvement, waste reduction, and cycle-time improvement efforts.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 34 years of Quality Control Inspector experience in a manufacturing environment required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments and gauges.
Experience performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
Experience with first article inspection preferred.
Ability to read and understand manufacturing specifications and inspection documentation.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to push and pull heavy objects using appropriate equipment.
Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear.
Qualified candidates with strong manufacturing QC experience are encouraged to apply.
