The Quality Control Inspector II conducts more complex inspections of sub‑assemblies, parts, fibers, and/or clean room products to ensure conformance with established quality standards. This role independently interprets work orders, drawings, and specifications, applies defined inspection criteria, and assigns failure modes in accordance with SOPs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct more complex inspections of sub‑assemblies, parts, fibers, and/or clean room products.
Interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.
Perform in process and finished goods inspections in accordance with SOPs and quality plans.
Use precision inspection and measurement tools to evaluate product conformance.
Apply established acceptance criteria and assign failure modes per SOPs.
Accurately document inspection results, measurements, and nonconformances in required systems.
Identify trends or recurring issues and escalate concerns to Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing as appropriate.
Support less experienced inspectors by providing guidance on procedures and inspection criteria.
Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, ESD, and clean room requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.
