Job Summary:

The QC Inspector is responsible for performing in-process, final, and meter validation inspection activities to ensure medical device products meet quality, performance, and regulatory requirements. This role conducts line clearance, inspection, testing, and documentation review activities, performs meter validation using approved methods, and supports product release decisions while maintaining compliance with GMP, GDP, and quality system requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine quality inspection activities, including line clearance, first-piece printed label verification, and final inspection of components, subassemblies, and finished meters to ensure compliance with approved specifications, artwork requirements, and quality standards.
  • Conduct meter validation testing using test strips, linearity control solutions, and precision testing protocols according to approved procedures.
  • Operate validation systems and software to collect data, review test results, and generate validation reports.
  • Document inspection and testing activities accurately following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Identify, document, and escalate nonconforming materials, products, or test results.
  • Review manufacturing and quality records to ensure completeness and compliance with established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to GMP and company safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 0-2 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a regulated production environment preferred. Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, perform repetitive hand motions, and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Work Location: Lexington RD - work schedule on-site, 5days/week

Targeted Salary Range: $51,750 to $62,400 per Year
