Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Inspector
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and quality of our products, particularly by inspecting welds and structural components on lifts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding and fabrication and a strong ability to identify potential issues that could impact product performance and customer safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect welding on lifts to ensure structural integrity and safety standards are met
- Identify and report welding defects or inconsistencies
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and prints to verify proper assembly and fabrication
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Utilize company computer systems for tracking and reporting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Stay productive during slower periods by assisting with additional tasks or inspections
Qualifications:
- Welding experience required
- Fabrication experience required
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Previous quality control experience is a plus, but not required
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company-specific software
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to stay productive in both busy and slow periods
