Day Shift: Monday - Friday (may work OT on Weekends)
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Chiefly responsible for providing support and facilitation across functions in the areas of quality audits and troubleshooting. Follows quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality control standards, guidelines, and procedures
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Planning containers
Clearing/Reviewing containers
Moving FAI files
Updating DIMs
Uploading containers (manually)
Container corrections
LCT parts
Processing daily minor failures (RW Tracking Tool)
Reviewing container cards daily
Qualifications:
High School Diploma is required; Associates degree is preferred
Proficient with MS Office applications, including Access and Outlook
ERP or WMS experience is highly preferred
Ability to effectively manage and coordinate simultaneous projects and successfully prioritize multiple projects with seamless execution and sound judgment
Meticulous attention to detail; commitment to producing quality product
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Mechanical aptitude is highly preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The Quality Control Clerk role operates in a mixed office/warehouse setting.
The employee will be required to regularly use hands to finger, handle, reach or feel; sit for long periods of time; talk and hear. T
his role regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. The visual acuity requirements include close vision and color recognition.
The noise level is moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to temperature-related weather conditions in a warehouse setting that is not climate-controlled.
