About the Role:

Position Summary

The QC Lab Technician is responsible for performing QC testing of incoming raw materials and customer project and finished product samples, providing administrative support of the SAP Quality Module and allied databases, coordinating analysis of ADHOC samples and communicating QC data to allied departments and outside customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A. Perform routine analyses and execute daily maintenance, calibration, validation, and optimization of laboratory instruments and data systems to ensure timely and reliable results.

B. Provide support to other departments and laboratory personnel by fulfilling requests for analytical test results. Investigate customer complaints, assist with their resolution, and communicate with clients as necessary.

C. Support the data upload process and assist with customer documentation, including certificates of analysis, specification reviews, and technical data requests.

D. Analyze data and create reports as required to clearly communicate insights and support optimal business decisions.

E. Support additional laboratory activities essential to the group's objectives. Carry out any other duties as assigned.

F. Other Functions:

  • Assist in training laboratory personnel.
  • Support continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

About You:

Required Qualifications

  • Associates of Science Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant discipline OR HS Diploma / GED plus 1-3 years of laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of standard analytical chemistry testing.
  • Familiarity with analytical chemistry testing equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system is an advantage.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The expected gross salary for this position is USD $48000.00 - USD $55000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
