Novartis is unable to offer relocation support: please only apply if accessible.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and restock laboratory workstations with required consumables and reagentsManage reagent inventory to maintain accurate stock levels and uninterrupted lab operationsSupport sample lifecycle activities including inventory, shipment, and appropriate sample disposalPerform daily instrumentation setup and calibration for laboratory equipment such as flow cytometers and quantitative polymerase chain reaction systemsExecute routine maintenance tasks on laboratory equipment to ensure performance and complianceVerify analytical data in real time to ensure accuracy and adherence to established methodsFollow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements to maintain a compliant laboratory environmentEssential RequirementsAssociate's degree (minimum) in science or a related field requiredAt least one year of experience or exposure in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or medical device industryHands-on laboratory experience, including use of micro pipettes and aseptic techniquesKnowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and/or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and regulatory guidelinesFamiliarity with laboratory information management systems preferred (LIMS)Working knowledge of quality systems and standard operating procedures (i.e. ESOP''s, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Must be fluent in English.Desirable RequirementsExperience supporting analytical laboratory instrumentation such as flow cytometry or quantitative polymerase chain reaction systemsFamiliarity with regulatory standards and industry frameworks, including International Organization for Standardization and American National Standards InstituteThe salary for this position is expected to range between $45,300 and $84,100 per year.The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits.
