Quality Control Manager / Project Engineer
Location: Three Rivers, CA Sequoia National Park Area Pay: $90,000-$120,000 DOE
Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Control Manager / Project Engineer to provide full-time on-site support for a construction project in the Sequoia National Park area.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Superintendent and project team to maintain quality control, coordinate documentation, and support the successful completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the project quality control process and documentation.
Coordinate and track submittals, RFIs, and project correspondence.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
Assist with project scheduling, updates, and tracking.
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to support project requirements and timelines.
Maintain accurate project records, logs, reports, and other documentation.
Review project documents and plans for completeness and consistency.
Support field inspections and quality control activities.
Monitor project progress and communicate issues or potential concerns to the Superintendent and project team.
Utilize project management software and Microsoft Office applications to maintain and organize project information.
Assist with general project administration and other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of construction project experience.
Experience in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Quality Control, or similar construction role.
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and utilize project management software.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and project documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently in a field-based construction environment.
