WORK SCHEDULE:
The on-site work schedule for the QC Lab Technician position is from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role follows a rotating bi-weekly schedule, consisting of a five-day workweek in one week and a four-day workweek in the following week.

INTERVIEWS: IN PERSON

Job Overview:
This position plays a key role in testing raw material and finished product batches.

Job Responsibilities:
Testing of incoming raw materials per standard operating procedures
Testing of finished product per standard operating procedures
Inspection of incoming finished goods produced by third parties per standard operating procedures
Inspection of the production lines
Maintaining QC records and product retention samples
Assist QA/QC Manager in product complaint investigations
Assist QA/QC Manager on special projects as assigned
Assist the Research & Development group on projects as assigned
General cleaning and maintenance of the immediate lab area to ensure the safety of laboratory personnel
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Required Skills & Training:
Knowledge of basic chemistry and math
Good mechanical capability
Good verbal and written communication skills
Some heavy lifting is required

Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
Chemical Lab experience preferred

Work Environment:
Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment. Occasionally, the employee will be exposed to a warehouse environment and will be required to wear appropriate PPE. Warehouse: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
