QC Sample Management Specialist
Location: Novato, CA (100% Onsite)
Pay: $35–40/hour
Duration: 1+ Year Contract
Job Summary
Seeking a QC Sample Management Specialist to support sample management, stability studies, inventory, shipments, and quality system activities in a cGMP/GLP laboratory environment.
Responsibilities- Receive, track, store, and dispose of laboratory samples.
- Support stability and reference standard studies.
- Maintain sample inventories.
- Perform stability and reference standard sample pulls.
- Coordinate domestic and international sample shipments.
- Perform preventive maintenance on sample storage chambers.
- Participate in 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Support inspections, audits, and Quality System activities (CAPAs, Deviations, Change Controls).
- Work with cross-functional teams and perform other duties as assigned.
Note: May require working company holidays and scheduled manufacturing shutdowns.
Qualifications- 1+ year of cGMP or GLP laboratory experience (QC preferred).
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to work independently and follow written procedures.
Education- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related science.
- Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree with 1–2 years of laboratory experience, or
- Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
