QC Technician

QC Technician
To perform all analytical testing are required in support of both process control and quality assurance operations, and provide accurate, timely recording of test results. A good understanding of gas chromatography gained through previous work experience. Technicians will perform routine analysis with the following laboratory instrumentation:
- Gas Chromatograph (capillary)
- pH meter
- Densitometer
- Refractometer (electronic)
- Polarimeter
- Colorimeter
- Wet Aldehyde Titration

Required Skills
Must be able to read and follow written instructions
Must be effective with verbal communications
Capable of working both independently and in a collaborative setting
Knowledge of basic laboratory analyses like physical testing, titration, and color comparison based on analyses.
Can adhere to Good Laboratory Practices
Able to perform simple algebraic calculations

Required Experience
*A.S / B.S in Chemistry, Biology or a related field is preferred
*3+ years experience quality testing using analytical equipment is preferred
*Must have basic computer and competer applications experience
