The QC Tester at a beverage manufacturing company will provide hands-on quality control support to ensure all products meet established standards and specifications. This role is responsible for performing routine product testing, collecting and documenting quality data, and assisting the Quality Control (QC) team in maintaining compliance with food safety and beverage manufacturing requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment while ensuring accuracy in testing, reporting, and communication of quality results.

Position: QC Tester *** Beverage Industry***

City: Whittier, CA

Range of Pay: $25.00 - $25.10

Shift: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 12:00PM - 8:30PM + OT

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with QC Supervisor to follow quality guidelines, SOPs, and GMP standards.
  • Perform inspections and testing at various stages of the beverage production process.
  • Conduct routine quality tests using laboratory and production testing equipment.
  • Record, review, and document test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Apply basic statistical quality control methods to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Operate and maintain testing instruments including CIP systems, UPLC, pH meters, titrators, and other lab equipment.
  • Perform sensory evaluations including taste, odor, and appearance comparisons against control samples.
  • Support calibration and verification of testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in identifying and documenting deviations, variances, and quality issues, including root cause support.
  • Participate in GMP technical reviews such as raw material checks, finished goods testing, label approvals, and production records.
  • Recommend improvements to quality processes and production standards to enhance product quality and consistency.

Requirements
  • Experience in quality control or food/beverage manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and food safety standards.
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment (pH meters, titrators, UPLC, CIP systems, etc.).
  • Ability to perform sensory and analytical testing with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of statistical quality control and data recording.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
