The QC Utility Testing Analyst is responsible for performing routine quality control testing on utility samples to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards. This role supports lab operations through accurate data collection, equipment calibration, and maintaining a clean, inspection-ready environment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality results.
What Youll Do:
- Perform routine QC testing of utility samples, including pH, conductivity, nitrate identification, TOC, and appearance assessments
- Receive, handle, label, and properly dispose of samples in accordance with procedures
- Calibrate or verify calibration of laboratory instruments prior to use
- Accurately record data and escalate any out-of-specification or unusual results
- Maintain laboratory supplies and ensure workspaces remain clean, organized, and inspection-ready
- Provide reliable and professional support to internal clients and QC team members
- Participate in required training programs and adhere to all regulatory, safety, and quality guidelines
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures accurately and consistently
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Comfortable learning new techniques, managing multiple priorities, and working in a moderately physical, lab-based setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a GMP, biopharmaceutical, or QC laboratory environment
- Familiarity with LIMS or other laboratory data management systems

Additional Details:
The position is Full-Time, Sunday through Wednesday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Training will be Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselear, New York, are encouraged to apply.
