QE_SDET_Engineer(Manual)

Summary:

This position is a 1-year contract role for a QE SDET Engineer specializing in manual testing. The role is remote, but requires work within the PST time zone. The candidate must have experience in banking or financial services and work within regulated, compliance-driven environments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Author test plans, test cases, and execution documentation.
• Manage the defect lifecycle effectively.
• Test .Net applications using C#.
• Design, enhance, and maintain automated regression suites.
• Perform API testing, including validation of REST services and authentication flows.
• Validate Single Sign On (SSO) implementations and SAML authentication.
• Understand session management, role-based access control, and secure authentication workflows.

Requirements:

• Must have work authorization in any format.
• Must be able to work remotely in the PST time zone.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Manual Tester.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services.
• Experience with regulated, compliance-driven environments.
• Manual Testing: Functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Defect lifecycle management.
• .Net Application Testing.
• C# proficiency.
• API testing experience.
• Identity & Security Testing: SSO, SAML, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
• Understanding of session management, role-based access control, and secure authentication workflows.

Preferred Skills:

• CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Familiarity with cloud-based or microservices architectures.
• Exposure to performance or security testing.
