Shift:Monday Friday | 6: 00 AM 4: 30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quad Sub Arc Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Sapulpa. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining multi-wire Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) equipment to produce high-quality welds on heavy steel components while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has previous dual or quad sub arc welding experience, can read fabrication drawings, and takes pride in producing precision welds in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete the following weld test:

1-inch plate weld test with a pre-installed root weld
Complete the weld using Single Wire Sub Arc
Weld must successfully pass X-Ray Inspection and Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Note: Previous Dual or Quad Sub Arc Welding experience is required.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years of submerged arc welding (SAW) experience
Previous Dual or Quad Sub Arc Welding experience required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Experience welding carbon steel and heavy plate materials
Knowledge of welding procedures, equipment setup, and quality inspection processes
Ability to use tape measures, calipers, weld gauges, and other measuring devices
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate Quad Sub Arc welding equipment according to production specifications
Perform submerged arc welding on heavy steel components, pressure vessels, structural steel, pipe, and fabricated assemblies
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and fabrication drawings
Adjust voltage, amperage, wire feed speed, and travel speed to produce quality welds
Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with customer and quality standards
Use measuring tools and weld gauges to verify dimensions and weld quality
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipment
Follow approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and quality control procedures
Operate overhead cranes, hoists, and material handling equipment as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Welding Certifications
Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, pressure vessel fabrication, structural steel, wind tower, or pipe manufacturing
Overhead crane and forklift experience
Familiarity with automated or robotic welding systems
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in varying temperatures within a heavy manufacturing environment
Ability to safely wear all required PPE throughout the workday
