Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP)


Join our dedicated team as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in a compassionate and professional environment. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate the Individual Support Planning (ISP) process for residents in Shore's Residential homes.- Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of active treatment plans and program services.- Ensure all services comply with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.- Serve as a case manager, advocate, and liaison for residents, families, and service providers.- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 shift support for residential homes.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.- Document all services, interventions, and progress accurately and timely.- Provide guidance and supervision to direct care staff regarding treatment plans and regulatory compliance.

Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.- Valid certification as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) or eligible for certification.- Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to residential services.- Excellent communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
