Job Description
Responsible for the administration of the clerical tasks and record keeping functions of the QA department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs administrative duties to assist the QA department and personnel.
Assists in the activities required for the maintenance of the Quality System; including, record retention, document changes/updates, internal auditing system, calibration system, etc.
Responsible for the update, revision control and distribution of all Quality documents (paper, scanned, intranet and databases).
Administer and maintain the Quality systems related to calibration, stamp control, and internal auditing.
Maintain quality records in accordance with the record retention schedule; including off-site files.
Prepare and distribute various departmental reports and matrices.
Write procedures, bulletins and directives for the Quality System as required.
Maintain Quality personnel training records, interacting with Human Resources where required.
Responsible for distribution, record keeping and reporting of validated ZA Standards.
Coordinates and posts company data on Intranet; maintains Intranet format; as needed.
Perform other administrative tasks as required; including, word processing, spreadsheets, powerpoint creation, filing, faxing, sorting of mail, covering the main switch board, and scheduling meetings.
Assists in M3 activities related to FAA 8130-3 authorized release certificates.
Perform other administrative functions, as required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
