Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team within U.S. Bank Global Fund Services Transfer Agency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quality analysis within financial services or mutual fund operations and a proven ability to evaluate work against timeliness, accuracy, and productivity standards while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of work against timeliness, accuracy, and productivity standards.
- Document quality issues, performance measures, and quality improvements for management review.
- Provide input for training and feedback to employees to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Independently analyze complex cases requiring advanced review and judgment; resolve quality control issues.
- Verify processing of shareholder transactions, financial and non-financial, for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze new account setups and maintenance for correctness and required documentation.
- Review shareholder correspondence for content, clarity, grammar, and typographical accuracy and/or review Contact Center transactions for caller verification.
- Communicate discrepancies to appropriate parties and maintain team standards for volume and accuracy.
- Participate in a culture of continuous improvement and risk-based thinking aligned to ISO 9001.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Detail orientation with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication with collaboration skills across teams.
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge and understanding of products and services applicable to Mutual Funds.
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- One to two years of experience in quality analysis and measurement or mutual fund operations.
- Knowledge of productivity and accuracy standards in mutual fund operations.
Work Environment & Logistics:
- Onsite five days a week for training; hybrid work may be possible based on role factors.
- In-person interviews preferred. Training will require additional onsite presence.
- No overtime available; maximum 40 hours per week.
- Parking available at cost.
- Potential for temp-to-perm based on performance and fit.
