Summary
The Quality and Billing Technicians role is to assist in the day-to-day functions of the Quality and Billing department. This includes reviewing mental health paperwork in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) and assisting clinical and billing staff with education and support around paperwork deadlines. This member is responsible for day-to-day office functions that can include data entry, filing, faxing, pulling reports and communicating with staff members and program managers. Additionally, this member is responsible for becoming an agency expert in documentation standards and our internal databases and EHR(s). 

Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, 2- or 4-year college degree in related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience in medical or mental health charting and/or billing.
  • Experience dealing with medical insurance companies.
  • Familiarity with mental health reporting procedures and monitoring treatment plan adherence.
  • Familiarity with outcome measure collection and interpretation.
  • Proficient computer skills
The estimated base pay for the Quality and Billing Technician is $19.00 - $25.00 ​an hour; additional individual compensation may be available. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefit program is available for qualifying position.
