About the Role

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for conducting quality control activities within the manufacturing environment. This role supports the inspection and verification of products to ensure they meet established quality standards, focusing on products weighing up to 10 lbs. The position involves working on the production floor to maintain product integrity and enhance customer satisfaction through quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on products up to 10 lbs during manufacturing processes.
• Verify product conformance to specified quality standards and requirements.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain inspection logs.
• Identify defective or non-conforming products and communicate findings to relevant teams.
• Support the implementation of quality assurance procedures and protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Use inspection tools and measurement devices to facilitate product inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies during inspections.
• Support calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
• Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in quality control or quality assurance inspection.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with quality control tools and systems.
