Job SummaryThe Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for conducting daily quality inspections of incoming and outgoing produce and ensuring products meet company quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. This position works closely with warehouse and production teams to identify quality concerns, maintain accurate documentation, and support corrective actions and audit compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily quality inspections of incoming and outgoing produceInspect products for quality, damage, contamination, proper specifications, and overall conditionEnsure products meet company quality and food safety standardsFollow and enforce GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety proceduresMonitor proper handling, storage, labeling, and packaging of productsComplete QA checklists, inspection reports, and required documentation accuratelyReport quality issues, non-conformances, and damaged or contaminated products to managementAssist with corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issuesMonitor sanitation and cleanliness throughout the facilityWork closely with warehouse, production, and other departments to maintain quality standardsMaintain accurate and organized quality and food safety recordsAssist with internal and external audits as neededEnsure compliance with company quality, food safety, sanitation, and operational standardsPerform other quality assurance duties as assignedJob RequirementsPrevious experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, food manufacturing, produce, or warehouse operations preferredKnowledge of GMP and food safety practicesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to identify product defects, damage, contamination, and quality concernsStrong documentation and record-keeping skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced food production or warehouse environmentAbility to follow established procedures and maintain strict food safety standardsExperience assisting with audits and corrective actions is a plus
