Quality Assurance Consultant II

Introduction

As a Quality Assurance Consultant II, you will be responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. You will be a subject matter expert on testing practices, ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. You will help condition and generate test data, build and execute both manual and automated test suites, record and communicate test results, and assist with triaging defects. You will also ensure regression test suites are maintained and well designed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
• Lead test planning, usually at a team level.
• Implement the test framework for the team.
• Identify automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Program and Project Management.
• Knowledge of SWIFT is a huge plus.
• Experience in creating and managing traceability through the development lifecycle.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage.
• Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results.
• Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assist with resolving or escalating them as necessary.
