We help the individuals we support become the fullest versions of themselves through the values of inclusion, independence, and freedom of choice.A Day in the Life of the Quality Assurance Coordinator:Our Quality Assurance Coordinator (QA) is one of the main point of contacts for STAR, Inc., with regulatory agencies to make sure STAR, Inc., is compliant and providing the necessary oversight to our participants. Our QA Coordinator will be preparing for audits, developing policies and procedures, overseeing safety issues as they arise, submitting reporting data to various agencies all while ensuring our staff are following the proper quality standards for our participants. Our QA Coordinator is working with our residential director and group home managers to ensure our properties meet the requirements set out by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other regulatory agencies. This job requires a lot of attention to detail, a working knowledge of DDS and a history of supervision in a similar setting. Our QA coordinator is doing vital and important work to guarantee the proper procedures are being followed at STAR residential propertieis so our hands on staff can focus on making every day for our residents something meaningful.
