We strive to help each individual reach their fullest potential through inclusion, independence, and freedom of choice.A Day in the Life of the Quality Assurance Coordinator:The Quality Assurance Coordinator (QA) serves as a key point of contact between STAR, Inc. and regulatory agencies, helping ensure compliance and appropriate oversight for the individuals we support. In this role, the QA Coordinator will prepare for audits, develop and maintain policies and procedures, address safety concerns as they arise, submit required information to various agencies, and monitor staff adherence to established quality standards.The QA Coordinator works closely with the Residential Director and group home managers to ensure STAR's residential properties meet the requirements established by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other applicable regulatory agencies.Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a working knowledge of DDS requirements, and supervisory experience in a similar environment. This is an important role in ensuring that proper procedures are consistently followed throughout STAR's residential programs, allowing direct-care staff to remain focused on creating meaningful daily experiences for the people we serve.Qualifications for the Job:Bachelor's degreeSupervisory experience in a residential or related settingPrevious experience with the Department of Developmental Services preferredStrong ability to manage multiple prioritiesCompassion and the ability to recognize the potential in every individualPositive, collaborative, and team-oriented approachSchedule:Full Time, Monday-FridayHow to Apply:Interested in joining a caring and dedicated team?
